Vulnerable in Writing: A Talk with Shannon Damuth

Shannon Damuth is a junior at Northeastern University. Her favorite form of writing is poetry, and her poem Parallel Love was a recipient of the Gold Key Scholastic Writing Award. At the end of seventh grade, Shannon’s class nominated her as “Most likely to write a book,” and she is excited to live up to this superlative with her 2022 book Semicolon and her 2023 book Question Mark! We thank her for allowing us ask her a couple of questions.

A look into Kim Keever’s Controlled Randomness

Kim Keever (b.1955) is an internationally acclaimed photographer. He is known for his colourful large-scale abstractions, which he creates by pouring paint into a 200-gallon tank of water in his studio. Keever uses his large-format digital camera to capture the resulting clouds of colour as they swirl into different forms and diffuse themselves through the water.
